A popular Nigerian gospel songwriter, Eben has released a single titled “Oil On My Head.”
By combining the explosive tempo and intensity of Afrobeats with the percussive and electronic vibes of Electronic Dance Music, the musician creates a sound that is similar to a breath of fresh air.
Eben began his singing career in 1997 under the guidance of his older brother as a rapper, but he later realized he had a gift for singing and changed his genre to gospel. After making his first significant public performance in 2005 at a youth conference hosted by Pastor Chris, where “Imarama” was first heard, gospel artist Eben rose to fame.
Eben was a part of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s Christ Embassy in 2006. Eben’s debut album, “On the Rock,” which has songs like “Imaranma,” “God Dey,” “Iwo Nikan,” and “I Don Hammer,” among others, was published in 2007. [3] [4] He followed up his debut album with “Phenomenon” in 2010, which featured songs like “Supper Man,” “Imele Papa,” “Siya Nma,” and several others. Eben launched a new album in 2013.
