It’s a very good thing to dream big, what is so absurd about big dream is not going the right route to fulfil it. With millions upon millions still eyeing the shining vanity of fake life and fame in the Nigerian Music industry, their role models in the industry are busy pushing their ways through many deals that leads to perdition.

The yesterday stars are gearing up to release same old thing to renew the minds of already corrupted people. Every musicians is vying for attention to stay relevant. I was so intrigued to hear about an artist in the 1980s still pursuing the dream of being known. A Never giving up attitude is so crucial to achieving our dreams, I thought.

When the original purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is the result. Music is one of the great gift granted to humanity for worshipping God, soul reflection, and Celebration. Gone are the days we see music with meaning and morals in the Nigeria music industry. Almost every professional musician is chasing after the rabbit hole of the streaming and social media platforms.

Mavin Record’s artist “Rema” the other time tagged the industry as being filled with fake people. Nigerian Music industry needs to be sanitised.

Music in a broader term can help the Country as a whole unite. When one of the vehicle that can convey unity is divided, then how can the object of unity be impacted to the populace.

Nigeria is battling with many social-economic issues that has put many into abject poverty. We must recognise that poverty and wealth starts from the mind. We need total renewal and transformation of the mind of the people.

Music is a tool that can be used to open the streams of life into the hearts and minds of both the young and the old. Are we going to keep going down till we are out and helpless or find a lasting solution?

The various actors in the Nigerian Music industry are so divided that many of their fans are following suits. What need to be done? The Desperados in the Nigerian Music industry.
