In collaboration with the renowned American distribution service and record label EMPIRE, this groundbreaking initiative is set to unearth, nurture, and spotlight local talents in the vibrant Nigerian music scene.
Elevating the stakes, the competition promises to bestow brand new SUVs upon the top three standout participants. Moreover, these exceptional talents will have the exclusive opportunity to refine their musical craft under the guidance of industry luminaries such as Sarz, Masterkraft, Blaisebeatz, and P.priime. The cherry on top? A coveted two-year recording contract with EMPIRE, propelling them into the spotlight of the global music stage.
Aspiring individuals who fit the bill must meet certain criteria to be eligible for this transformative experience. Open exclusively to Nigerian nationals aged 18 or older and residing in any state within the country, entrants must submit original compositions—both lyrics and music—reflecting their unbridled creativity. Importantly, these budding artists must be amateurs in the music publishing/recording sphere, devoid of any binding contracts.
The submission window closes on January 18, marking the deadline for those aspiring to seize this golden opportunity. To qualify, entrants need to ensure their social media accounts remain public throughout the academy period, adding an extra layer of transparency to the selection process.
Entrance into this academy demands adherence to stringent entry requirements. The submitted entries, whether in English, Pidgin, or any Nigerian language, must exude artistic brilliance without veering into offensive or inappropriate territory.
