According to her, this song was written during an “interesting” period. “The name of Jesus came through for me – as He always does! I pray this song blesses you, as it blesses me. The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it, and they are safe”, Olapeju said.
Olapeju is a worship leader who loves to worship God in songs. She was born and raised in Lagos Nigeria, where she discovered her love for praising God. Her journey with music started when she was in primary school, where she would always be a part of musical projects. This continued to her secondary school and university days, where she started to lead worship.

One of the strong influences of Olapeju’s music is Cece Winans – Cece’s warmth and pure heart which are evident in her music, were some of the things that have drawn Olapeju to Cece Winans’ music. In 2014, she wrote her first single Your Name is Great, which was produced by Wole Oni.
Apart from singing, she enjoys spending time with family, indoor activities and new technology. She is a wife, a mother and an IT professional, who is passionate about data privacy and security.
